The Blender Girl Smoothies - Easy, Healthy Smoothie Recipes App Reviews

The smoothie recipes are great - I really like that she gives nutritional info. Would like even more lower sugar options. My only issue with the app (and why I deducted a star), is that it has a landing page upon opening that is very slow and unnecessary!

This app has so many great smoothie recipe ideas and combos! It definitely helps keep smoothies interesting and staves off a smoothie-making-rut! I would give the app 5 stars if you could program it for sweetener-free recipes (under preferences there is already dairy-free gluten-free etc). Worth the price for sure because its just like having a big recipe book right in your phone! Thanks smoothie girl!

I own Tess Masters cookbook "The Blender Girl" and I absolutely love it! When I found out she also had a smoothie app I had to download it! The app has a user-friendly interface. You can filter certain dietary needs, and I love how the app generates "your perfect blend" based on how you feel, what you need and what you crave. Each smoothie has a summary on the health benefits of each ingredient, and also nutritional information for those that keep a food journal. I like having an app that can generate tasty smoothie recipes, especially when Im food shopping, I can use the shopping list feature. The app also has a very helpful glossary section where it provides information on superfoods, herbs, oils, protein powders and the list goes on. Definitely worth the price!

App has good pictures and informative, but landing page on each smoothie and recipes are all complex compared to other smoothie apps

I love this app! Its beautiful and functional. I love that you can search the recipes by ingredient. So much easier than searching a blog or a book for recipes. Also the nutritional information is a nice thing to have. There are more than 90 recipes at the time of this review and she adds new recipes weekly. Making this an excellent value compared to a book. Thank you Blender Girl!!!

So simple to use and the pics are gorgeous! Love being able to see the results of smoothies that fit my mood! The recipes are so delicious!!!

The recipes are all great. The nutritional information that is provided is very helpful. I like that you can share the recipes.

i am in love with this app! i definitely love making smoothies & was in a rut as to what to make. this app is easy to navigate & has great photos of each recipe. i have tried about 5 recipes already & they have all been DELICIOUS! my faves are Pearlicious, Brownie Batter & Green Tea Ice Cream... i cannot get enough! as a smoothie aficionado i found this app to be inspiring & helpful & would recommend it to anyone. there are suggested supplements/boosts to each smoothie to up the nutritional value for those seasoned smoothiests & there is even a section with smoothie tips for those who are new to blending. seriously, this app deserves 10 stars for just the recipes alone. yummyyy!

Waste of money and time. Tried for quite some time to download, never would.

I love the summaries explaining what each ingredient does for me. The ability to tell the app just what I need at that moment and get several choices of what will help me, is great! Fabulous recipes!

I really like it so far. It seems like it will be super easy and good to use. However, I wish I could filter out the recipes that include ingredients in allergic to. That would make the process easier

If you are into smoothies, this is the most amazing app. All different types, tastes, and blends. Very easy to use, and lots of info about ingredients and how to use them. If you are into smoothies and nutrition, you have to get this. I use it every day. Thanks Tess!

Use it several times a week and the recipes are awesome.

Just downloaded the app. It works perfectly on my iPad but froze on an IPhone. I need the shopping list on my iPhone. Not sure what to do now...

This app and its contents are wonderful! My daughter and friends and I have had smoothie making parties for bagging and freezing several smoothies at a time. The variety of options is great! Very energizing too!
